Welcome to my site

My inspiration is derived from the surrounding landscape whether it be the rolling polders, the meandering rivers and the reclaimed land of The Netherlands or the landscape which I knew as a child, that of Canada and in particular, the Ottawa valley. I enjoy translating these images using soft colours, contrasting colours and even animals and people.

Currently I have been making collages making use of my photographs and transfers in combination with acryl paint, pencil, ink and whatever I come across on my work table.

I am an autodidact (1953) and have had lessons from a number of artists. I live and work in Beuningen, The Netherlands.
